Civitans are dedicated to improving their communities through helping others. The major International project is the Civitan International Research Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, leading in research and treatment for mental handicaps and a wide range of other developmental disabilities. Locally, Clearwater Civitans have been involved in the community with the service activities listed below.
